Exporting Worldwide, From Sourcing to Your Port

Western Forage supplies premium North American hay, grain, and pulses to buyers across the globe. This page covers how our export process works, from packaging and documentation through to shipping and delivery, so international buyers know exactly what to expect when placing an order.

Shipping & Logistics

We ship both via container and bulk/break-bulk, depending on product, order size, and destination port. Our team coordinates with experienced freight forwarders to arrange loading, transit, and delivery to your receiving port, and we can advise on the most cost-effective shipping method for your order volume and destination.

Export Documentation We Handle

We manage the export paperwork required for international shipments, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and phytosanitary certificates where applicable. If your country requires specific import documentation or certifications, let us know when requesting a quote and we’ll confirm what we can provide.

Packaging & Bale Options

Hay is available in single-press and double-compressed bales, with custom weights and dimensions on request to suit your container or bulk shipping requirements. Grains and pulses are supplied in bulk or container-ready packaging suited to your receiving port and handling equipment.

Minimum Order Quantities

Minimum order quantities vary by product and shipping method. Send us your target product, quantity, and destination port, and we’ll confirm the minimum that applies along with estimated lead times.

Quality & Inspection

Every shipment is inspected prior to loading for moisture content, color, cleanliness, and grade consistency, so buyers receive the same quality agreed at contract, shipment after shipment. Samples can be arranged ahead of a first order on most products.
